Products for Dummies Like Me

Information product creation never seemed so easy until running across the Dummies book series in a local Barnes and Noble. The Dummies series is one of the most commonly sold book editions as it provides readers with knowledge on just about any subject matter. The concept of the book seems almost too simple, provide general knowledge on a wide variety of topics and reap a profit. Internet marketers often take for granted how much knowledge they have and just how many potential customers would love to access it.

In terms of the web, one has to realize that many do not comprehend even the most mundane computer tasks. It seems wacky however, turn on the tube and watch all of the commercials selling DVD products to help people run their computer systems in order to word process or web surf. The Dummies product line has perfected this type of product to a t. It couldn't get any better than that, everything you needed to know neatly bound between two covers.

Do you have what it takes to create a product even more superior than the Dummies product line? Of course you do, all you need to do is create a video product. They say a picture is worth a thousand words so why not create a 30 minute video and present the information in the most complete format possible? Stop for a moment and ponder the knowledge you have that could assist others. Are you a successful marketer, a mechanic, a cook, a computer programmer, a teacher? Any of these skills could be turned into a profitable video.

There is no reason why you can not set up your own website and create your own Dummies series. In fact if you do not know how to set up a site or create a product page there are others that have created dummy type products to help you! My first product was one such item that shows site owners how to host blog carnivals to increase their traffic.

The faster you start the sooner you can begin to see some profits roll in. If by some odd series of events you have never encountered the Dummies series then take a look on Amazon or in a book store in order to get a more definitive idea of what this series is about. The possibilities are only as limited as your imagination is so let the wheels in your mind turn and see what you can come up with.
