The largest problem for most any network marketing business has nothing to do with marketing its products. The main challenge is to generate MLM leads. Just how do you generate MLM leads who are genuinely interested in becoming part of your network marketing business sales team?

Once you know your network marketing business inside and out, you’re ready to generate MLM leads. One of the first places to look, of course, is to your friends and personal acquaintances. Make a list of everyone you know. Even if your friends and acquaintances aren’t interested in a network marketing business themselves, they can give you names of people they know who will be interested in your home based business opportunity.

Another thing you should do to generate MLM leads for your home based business is start collecting. Business cards. Email addresses. Phone numbers. You never know who may or may not be interested in an MLM home based business of their own. The person you contact may not be interested in a MLM home based business but may know someone else who is.

Generating traffic is probably the most difficult challenge for many network marketers. Some effective ways to produce results are article marketing, forum posting, and Google Adwords.

Article Marketing

Article marketing can be a great way to drive traffic to your website and generate mlm leads. The key to is to select the right keyword phrases for your article. The correct keyword phrases will get your article ranked on top of the search engines for your target keyword phrase. The article will give a back link to your website, which will increase your website’s search engine position.

When your prospects search for the specific keywords, they will find your article and follow the link from your resource box directly to your lead capture page. Then your lead capture page will help you generate MLM leads.

Forum Posting

There are dozens of large forums dedicated to network marketing and MLM. They are are great places to find people looking for help, advice and information.

Use a signature file with a link to your lead capture page.

Posting original and useful content in forums will result in the threads getting indexed by search engines.

Google Adwords

Google Adwords is a quick way to generate traffic and mlm leads for any type of business opportunity.

Here is how it works:

- You create an ad
- Bid for placement
- Monitor your spending
- Generate mlm leads

Adwords program is simply pay per click advertising. You pay for every click to your ad as a result from the searches being made for the keyword phrase you bid on.

With a bit of ingenuity and persistence, you can learn to generate MLM leads both off line and online. Get good at this and you will build a large downline for your business.
