New Employment Opportunity

~~ NEW ~~

From: Bill Remington, Associate Director for Revenue Policy and Revenue Administration
US Department of the Treasury
Date: Tue, 21 Apr 2009 12:43:33 -0400
Subject: RE: Recruitment - Adventure

We are starting a recruitment process for the following:

Advisor to the Director-General for Internal Audit of Afghanistan to:

Strengthen and establish internal audit departments across ministries.
Train Ministry of Finance internal auditors to recognize and rectify fraud
Establish procedures to ensure revenues are collected and transferred to the government
This would be a resident assignment (with a fairly liberal leave policy), lasting
I would presume one year.
The compensation package is favorable.

Advisor to the Director-General for Internal Audit of Iraq to:

Strengthen and establish internal audit departments across ministries.
Train Ministry of Finance internal auditors to recognize and rectify fraud
Establish procedures to ensure revenues are collected and transferred to the government
This would be a resident assignment (with a fairly liberal leave policy), lasting
I would presume one year.
The compensation package is favorable.

Do you know of anyone that could possibly be interested. It's an exciting assignment and a rewarding one in that it will address one of the most important obstacles toward moving the country forward. If so, could you please alert them to this informal recruiting process. Alternatively, and in addition, you might forward me their contact information and I can contact them directly.

We expect shortly to start a more formal process but would like a list of candidates that have positive recommendations from a credible reference, like you.

Thanks for your assistance ...

Contract Investigators Wanted

US Investigations Services (USIS), the nation's largest supplier of personnel security services, recently obtained several major Federal contracts. While this has created nationwide job opportunities, it has especially increased our need for experienced investigative personnel in the Washington DC/Baltimore areas. Accordingly, USIS is seeking contract investigators with progressively more responsible investigative experience, within the past five years, in conducting personnel, security, background, criminal, or other types of investigations.

Additional requirements include: skill in written and oral reports, valid driver's license, and proof of auto liability insurance ($100,000-$300,000). Successful candidates must be able to obtain a favorable Federal background investigation. Opportunities exist for both employee and contract investigators. If qualified, please fax resume, c/o Cindy Izzo, to 703-756-9062, mail to US Investigations Services, 7630 Little River Turnpike, Suite 400, Annandale, VA 22003, or e-mail to: cindy.izzo@usis.com
